In 2015, a piece of Haleyville's history was given new life. What began as John Dodd's vision in 1911 – the first brick building in our city – has evolved into something extraordinary. When Moses and Fanny Royal Feldman purchased the building in 1914, they created more than just Feldman's Department Store; they built a cornerstone of our community that served families and businesses for over eight decades.
Today, Greg and Cherie Sibley continue this legacy of community service with the same entrepreneurial spirit that originally built these walls. Their extensive renovation in 2015, followed by thoughtful updates in 2025, has transformed this National Register landmark into Haleyville's premier event destination while preserving the character and craftsmanship that make it truly special.
